My name is Peyton Newell and I am a 22 year-old female from Ortonville, Michigan. In high school, I was very involved with STEM, Advanced Placement courses, varsity sports, yearbook, and student leadership. I moved to Los Angeles, California when I was seventeen to pursue my dreams in fashion.

I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in December 2019. Over the course of my time at FIDM, I obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Merchandise Product Development, an Advanced Associates of Art Degree in International Manufacturing & Product Development, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

My experience lies heavily in the action sport industry as a Global Wetsuit Developer at Billabong and a Merchandising & Design intern at Roxy. I have also spent time as an intern with Paper Crown and Weslin + Grant.

Throughout my time in L.A., I have gained a wealth of industry experience and knowledge while forging countless meaningful relationships both personal and professional.

I hope to use these assets to continue to grow as a person, employee (at Filson), and aspiring entrepreneur here in the Greater Seattle area.
